Purina Endurance Trial CHANGE IN QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS At the National Elected Officers’ meeting in October 2008, it was voted to change the requirements for the Endurance Trial to reflect points earned within a dog’s home region based on input from several regions’ members. This was announced to the Board of Directors during the Dog of the Year meeting to reflect that change for 2010. Due to the economy and the limited number of qualified dogs in the area, we asked the regional presidents to again review the requirements for entry into this trial. We want this to be a successful trial and we are trying to provide widespread opportunities for all NSTRA members to be able to participate in National events. The Big Sky region has been awarded this trial for the next 5 years based on their desire to host a National event and their ability to develop premier trial grounds. The region presidents voted to open up the qualifications to allow any dog qualified to run a NSTRA field trial into this trial regardless of whether the dog has ever had a placement or not. This would be the same as the qualifications for entry into the former Quail Forever trial. Good Luck! September 8 – 11, 2010 Directions to the Trial Site:
